Halloween/Samhain
March of the Dead: Samhain is the night when
the pagan year begins. It is the night when the gates of the underworld are
open. Passing Clouds and StrangeWorks mingled
with spirits living and dead in a phantasmagoric wondrous weave along the
Kingsland Road from Hoxton Square in Shoreditch to Dalston Kingsland.
Bands played; banners flew and lanterns flickered. The March
of the Dead
took over the historic old Roman road for the second year running! All
were welcome and many joined on the way. When the march reached Dalston
there was some 300 writhing fun loving spirits....
