CHRIS DAVE: defies classification with his articulated beats, intrinsic rhythms and innovative inflections that have gained him recognition as one of the most influential and prototypical drummers in the industry today. With over 15 years of influential playing Chris has been around the world and back including world tours with Janet Jackson, Mint Condition and Erykah Badu as well as recording and performing with iconic artists such as: Kenny Garrett, Terrence Blanchard, Wynton Marsalis, Pat Metheny, Meshell N'Degeocello, Robert Glasper, Nicolas Payton, Mos Def, Erykah Badu, Talib Kweli, Jill Scott, A Tribe Called Quest, Dolly Parton, Dianne Reeves, and Yolanda Adams, just to name a few. www.myspace.com/chrisdaddydave

One of the many projects Chris Daddy Dave is involved with is a group called The Foundation. Having just released their debut album, The Foundation is a tremendous live hip-hop band consisting of "my family and friends from H-Town." They receive over 2.5 million hits monthly on www.OkayPlayer.com . Naturally, the purpose and motivation behind it is their uncanny love for hip-hop and true "freedom of expression." The project just released their self-titled debut on iTunes featuring special guests: Bilal, Stokely (Mint Condition), Meshell N'degeocello, PZ, Sa Ra, Tanya Morgan, Strangefruit Project, and Soulfruit.

In June 2008, Chris was invited to serve as musical director for Mos Def and his big band in a performance at Carnegie Hall produced by Jill Newman Productions. It's all showcases the range of Dave's dynamic collaborations in hip-hop, R&B, jazz and neo-soul.

FOLEY: Dubbed The funkiest cat Ive heard in a long time by George Clinton, Foley, played bass guitar for Miles Davis from 1987 until 1991. Foley sometimes fulfils the role of a lead guitarist, with his famous Blue Marble "Lead Bass." He tunes his instrument one octave higher than normal using a combination of effects pedals and his own unique phrasing to achieve a sound more closely associated with that of a "lead" guitar. During his time at Motown, Foley released the critically-acclaimed "7 Years Ago....Directions In Smart-Alec Music" in 1993. The album featured the AIDS-related song 'If It's Positive'. which is widely regarded as the first in a long line of AIDS awareness songs during the early 90's.

His website www.SMARTALECMUSIC.com  has very insightful interviews with other legendary musicians & actors. Often imitated, Foley's Inner-views have been praised by many entertainment journalists. His Article "THE BIG TRUTH" continues to inspire young musicians & performers about the ills of the Music business regarding Money, Technology & Music for profit.

Foley has shared the stage with an array of diverse artists ranging from Santana, Herbie Hancock, Prince, Patrice Rushen, Al Jarreau, Alice in Chains, Foreigner, Bootsy Collins, Fishbone, Arrested Development, Macy Gray, Mint Condition, Monica, Davina, Larry Dunn, Lenny White, Marcus Miller, Res, Khaleel, Funk Brother Jack Ashford, and Primus.
